5 Movies of 2021 That You Must Watch
Before we start with the list, let us tell you that all the movies we will recommend here have high IMDB ratings. So, you won’t necessarily be disappointed by any of these suggestions, no matter which genre you favor.
Let’s start on the list now:
1: The Power of The Dog
Jane Campion has made her return to feature filmmaking triumphant with this movie. An authoritarian rancher reacts somewhat surprisingly and cruelly when his brother comes back home with a wife and son.
However, Phil’s (the rancher) feelings are exposed as time passes. All of his fragility towards love is tapped into the past.
But, with each passing day, he finds himself more open to the possibilities of love, which is rather surprising to watch given his former cruel status.
Apart from the stunning plotline, the commendable acting performance of Benedict Cumberbatch is also praiseworthy, which is why you must give this film a fair shot this year.

2: Pig
The plot of Pig is pretty simple. It shows a truffle hunter who returns to Portland after living all his life alone in Oregon to confront the person who stole his Pig.
Michael Sarnoski indeed made an impressive directorial debut in this movie, and whatever stories he heard of truffle hunters guarding their belongings with shotguns indeed came to life when we watched this movie.
The ending is also dramatic. Rob finally learns that the people who stole his beloved Pig did not treat her well, which resulted in her death.
It may be sad, but there is hope in the end.
3: The Worst Person In The World
Joachim Trier has tried his hands in a comedy-drama, and he is indeed successful. It shows the story of a young woman who is always indecisive.
As she tries to figure out her life, she falls in love with one person, but as time goes by, she also ends up harboring romantic feelings for another man.
Now, Julie is more lost than ever, and she is back to square one.
The purpose of the movie is to make us realize that we are all works in progress, which means the best we can do is go with the flow and travel towards the light.
4: Dune
Paul Atreides is a gifted young man who must travel to an unknown universe to ensure the future of his people. Although he conquers his fear, things change when evil forces begin conflicting over the planet’s most complete resource.
The plotline is intriguing, and the cinematography is also reasonably impressive.
Although we watched this movie for those dreamy eyes of Timothee Chalamet and the striking persona of Zendaya, we actually liked it.
So, you can give this one a fair shot because you won’t be disappointed.
5: Licorice Pizza
Anyone will enjoy this movie no matter their age, preferred genre, or anything else.
Cooper Hoffmann and Alana Haim will be seen making a journey together during the chaotic time of 1973 in California’s San Fernando Valley.
They take big detours along their journey and end up in the home of a famous hairdresser named Jon Peters.
Paul Anderson has made the sweetest movie with Licorice Pizza, and you must watch it.
